Professional thread repair kit M6 – M110. Drills and taps are made of high speed steel HSS 4341. Single-thread taps are threaded into which a spiral insert of hard stainless steel is inserted. The insertion knob is used to guide the guide and the punch which breaks the protruding end of the insert.
Application / Application
Set for 3 types of threads:
M6 x 1.0 x 10.8 mm,
M8 x 1.25 x 10.8 mm,
M10 x 1.5 x 13.5 mm.
How to use
– Determine the size of the damaged thread and then select the repair kit in the same size.
– Deform the damaged thread with a drill bit from the set.
– Then tap it with the tap supplied. Tape insert
in the knob for taps. The knob is not included in the set.
– Place the cartridge on the spiral cartridge dial so that the transverse part of the cartridge is in
slot of the knob. Secure the insert with a ring so it does not stretch
during screwing. Secure the screw ring.
– Screw the cartridge completely into the previously threaded hole. Push the knob. With a pinch
Break the transverse part of the cartridge.
– Screw the screw in the repaired thread.
