The garden meter measures four values:
– soil moisture,
– soil pH reagent,
– soil temperature
– illuminance.
Meter, the so-called. The soil acid meter is equipped with a 20 cm probe and a readable LCD display for easy measurement and reading. If the probe is not pushed into the ground, the ambient temperature will be shown. The device has an automatic shutdown function, which affects the battery life.
How to use
Measurement of illuminance
Turn on the meter, point the meter window towards the light source. The degree of illumination is shown on the display.
LOW indication – means the lowest value, HGH + indicates the highest value.
Measurement of soil pH reagent
Set the switch at the back of the housing to pH. Gently gently and vertically push the probe into the soil. Turn on the device. PH reagent
will be shown on the display. Make several measurements to get a more accurate measurement result.
PH 7 indicates a neutral reagent. Indication below pH 7 indicates acidic soil, while
Indication above pH 7 means alkaline soil. The display “Lo” or “HH” indicates that the output is out of range
measurement.
