The device uses an electronic signal to determine the exact position of the installation pins,
electrical wiring, metal elements, wall reinforcement and other structural elements
placed in the walls, and invisible to the naked eye. If the wanted one is detected
metal element, the detector sends a sound and light signal (LED diode), which makes it possible to determine
the exact position of the metal element to be sought. The device detects metals from the paramagnetic group
and ferromagnetics, and does not detect metals from the diamagnetics group (eg copper, gold, silver).
Purpose / use
For security reasons, it is recommended to check and locate the electrical wiring
under tension before other works, such as drilling or forging.
Usage
Metal detection
A calibrated device should be placed flat on the surface to be checked with a wall with the inscription “METAL”
ensuring reliable contact, move the device until the alarm sounds and lights up
diode. It means detection of metal.
Voltage detection
A calibrated instrument should be placed flat on the surface to be checked with a wall with the word “VOLTAGE”
ensuring reliable contact, move the device until the alarm sounds and lights up
diode. This means detecting a live wire.
You can increase the sensitivity of the detector. If it happens that during the detection the LED will turn off and turn off
alarm, turning the knob slowly backwards, increase the sensitivity of the detector. This will allow for more accurate
detection of metal or live conductors.
If there is no presence of a live conductor in the controlled area, additionally
make sure the detector is functional by checking its operation in the place where it is
for sure, live electrical installation
